Only Lou Dobbs could tell us what his campaign platform would be, but those of us that are fans can tell what many of Lou's top issues are on the show. This speculative platform is just our opinion of what a Dobbs platform might look like.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE

Lou Dobbs believes that American citizens should be self governed and the main influence on governmental policy instead of elite special interest groups.

SAVE AMERICA

Lou Dobbs would shut down the SPP and any plans not approved by Congress that remotely favor a North American Union. Lou Dobbs will protect America's sovereignty.

CONTROLLING AND REVERSING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION:

Lou Dobbs would secure the border, oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens, and actually enforce our existing immigration laws which call for employer sanctions, no licenses or welfare benefits for illegal aliens, and local authorities involved in immigration enforcement. America could expect 'Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement' once a Dobbs Presidency unseated the US Chamber of Commerce from the White House. Four years of Lou Dobbs in the White House would likely lead to a rapidly shrinking population of illegal aliens in America due to attrition through enforcement.

TRADE AGREEMENTS AND THE ECONOMY

Lou Dobbs is not happy with America's current trade agreements and economic policies which he feels are destroying America's middle class. Dobbs would likely seek to renegotiate trade deals and curb corporate excesses that put American citizens at a great disadvantage.

NATIONAL SECURITY

Lou Dobbs recognizes the rapidly growing military and espionage threat of communist China. While most DC insider politicians ignore the clear and rising danger, Lou Dobbs would likely assure America's national security no longer takes a back seat to Global corporate interests that are more interested in their investments in Chinese manufacturing and access to the China's consumer markets.

PRIVACY AND FREEDOM

Lou Dobbs understands that there can be no freedom without privacy and would likely work to assure that our nation is protected from terrorism while the privacy of American citizens is restored and defended.

THE WAR

Lou Dobbs would be a good choice to bring the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to timely and successful conclusion. By removing the influence of corporate financial interests, that have proven their supremacy in the White House, from the decision making process involving a billion dollar a day war, true progress and a best case resolution could be achieved. Lou Dobbs believes that American citizens should run the show in our nation, he would likely want to give those same freedoms and responsibilities to Iraqi citizens as soon as possible.

CONSUMER PROTECTION

Lou Dobbs would work to assure more quality monitoring and testing of America's food supply and imported products to assure a higher level of safety for American consumers.

CORRUPTION

Lou Dobbs would launch extensive efforts to clean up Washington and restore the Rule of Law and other principles that are essential to our Republic. As a new sheriff in town, we could count on Lou to ferret out the special interests that have placed themselves above the American public in the order of importance to lawmakers.

Wasteful Spending

Wasteful spending and governmental and corporate corruption would be on the run with Lou Dobbs as President.

ELECTION INTEGRITY

Lou Dobbs has expressed concerns about the new voting machines and their documented vulnerabilities to hackers and special interests. A Lou Dobbs Presidency would likely focus on returning every assurance of integrity, and traditional checks and balances, to the elections process.
